MEET PUIU MAMEI
PUIU means “little one” in Romanian. MAMEI is who you became when you had one.
Motherhood changes your life. It shouldn’t change who you are.
We’re moms. We carry everything, remember everything, solve everything, and still forget our own coffee. When we went looking for a bag, every option was one of two things: cute and useless, or useful and something we’d never be caught wearing. Everyone was designing for the baby. Nobody was designing for the mother.
So we made the bag we couldn’t find. It looks like a designer tote and works like a parenting tool. Everything inside has one job and one place. No digging. No chaos. Or at least, controlled chaos.
WHAT IS THE MAMEI BAG?
A MAMEI bag holds all the sh*t a MAMEI needs, for herself and for her PUIU. Wallet, keys, lip gloss, sunglasses. Diapers, pacis, snacks, a change of clothes. Everyday, emergencies, vacations. And when the kids aren’t with you, it’s still your bag.
WHY WE MADE HER?
Because we f*cking had to. Today’s MAMEI runs a career, a household and a tiny human, usually before 9am. She adapts to everything and still takes care of herself. She deserved a bag that could keep up.
MAMEI is building castles while baking this cake, bit*h.
We don’t sell perfect motherhood. We’ve never seen it.
